Leadership

Lee Community Church is served by a leadership team.

The Leader of the team is Andrew Gill.

Andrew leads an eldership team and also has a Deacon team serving them. The Eldership team consists of Andrew and Kay Gill, John and Elizabeth Young, with Andrew and John being the 'Elders'.

They are served by a deacon team consisting of Marion Herbertson, Jody and Anna Schoultz, Steven and Elizabeth Halford, Amy Gill, Basil and Marissa Kupersamy and Jim Rogers.

As a team they all have responsibility of government and leadership with Andrew leading the team. No one is currently employed by the church. Each member of the leadership team has specific areas of anointing, and one of the strong points of our union is the diversity expressed in leadership with this anointing. For example,  Kay has a key prophetic gift, Andrew has clear management and financial gifting and John and Elizabeth have a clear annointing in pastoral care. All these gifts compliment one another and this is proving to be a very fruitful way of managing leadership.

The leadership team are committed to SERVING the church, not 'lording over' the church.( Eph 4:11,12) They are also committed to the concept of the priesthood of all believers. ( 1 Peter 2:5) This means that an emphasis of Lee Community Church is the expectation that all followers of Jesus will find the place where they can serve the Lord as He intended, not being 'an audience' , but being 'participators' with Jesus as He builds His Church.
